Divers Dream in Turks and Caicos!
March 21st, 2020 - March 28th, 2020
Turks and Caicos Islands are a scuba divers paradise with crystal clear waters, healthy coral reef, brimming with colorful fish, breathtaking walls and wrecks. Resort is in Providenciales, known as Provo, which is recognized as the best beach destination in the world. Steps away from Grace Bay Beach with a stunning shoreline protected by a continuous barrier reef. Turks and Caicos are 40 different islands and cays, but just eight are inhabited. The Columbus Passage, a 35-Kilometre/22-mile-wide channel, separates Turks Islands from the Caicos Islands. The deep passage is a water highway for migrating fish, rays, turtles, dolphins and humpback whales. Divers have access to offshore cays with untouched diving grounds, where large pelagic feed and breed. One of the most popular draws to the islands are the abundance of sea turtles that seek refuge here. Many activities available after a day of diving or wonderful place to relax. You don’t want to miss this trip!

Saturday: Welcome to paradise! Arrival at the Ports of Call Resort, I will greet you at the
hotel and provide a short orientation. The rest of your day is at your leisure. You may
wish to explore the shops located steps away from the hotel, stroll the worlds best beach,
take a swim or test your skills on a paddle board. This evening you may wish to join your other scuba singles for dinner then head to The Sand Bar which is very fun on Saturday nights.
Sunday: Fun day, start your morning off right with a complimentary breakfast each morning at the hotel and then get ready to dive. 8:00 am depart on a complimentary shuttle to the dive boats. There are several Dive sites to be seen which are determined by the dive staff each day. The boats usually return any time between 1:00 pm and 3:30 pm depending on destination. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Perhaps you would enjoy a massage in the spa or relaxing at the poolside bar.
Monday: Where will diving take us today? Perhaps we will go to Eagle Ray Pass; A sand gully leading off from under the mooring takes the diver out to the top of a sloping wall. This site has a tremendous selection of corals down to a sand bottom at 100fsw. Rest of the day is at your leisure. You may wish to participate in the Billiard/Ping-Pong Tournament to win a prize or head to Jimmy’s Dive Bar where Mojito’s are only $5 today.
Tuesday: Dive or Snorkel today perhaps you will see Bottlenose dolphins sometimes seen underwater on dives, but more often enjoyed as they play in the wake of the boats traveling to and from the dive sites. Tonight is the Managers Social, come out for a complimentary drink, hors d'oeuvre and trivia while getting to know your fellow travelers.
Wednesday: Diving today may be at Graceland — This site has a large sand chute under the dive boat and a swim-through leading to the wall at 50fsw. The wall has many buttresses and indentations with a good possibility of reef sharks swimming in the depths off the wall. This afternoon perhaps you would like to visit the world’s only conch farm.
Thursday: Dive or Snorkel today, we may see spotted Eagle Rays today, they are usually
seen in ones or twos cruising the edge of the barrier reef, imagine flying along the edge of
the wall among 15 or 16 eagle rays. Tonight is the Island Fish Fry where you can get a taste
of local food and drinks from the various vendors. Afterwards is an after party at Danny Buoys and karaoke night! Don't be shy give it a try.
Friday: You’re on vacation, do as you please today whether that means relaxing on the beach or you want a little more action. Perhaps you will want to add another day of diving, if not there is fun things to do on the Island such as renting a dog for a day, kiteboarding, parasailing, kayaking, brewery tour or horseback riding on the beach, just to name a few.
Saturday: Enjoy your day before you depart the hotel. Thank you!
Turks and Caicos is one of the best scuba vacations for singles because the islands are protected by a continuous barrier reef, so all the diving takes place from a boat. All the diving is wall diving and will require a dive computer. Destinations will be decided the day of the dive. The dive shop is steps away from the hotel in the Ports of Call Shopping Plaza. Free transfers are provided to and from the dive boats. Transfers will pick you up at 8:00am and return around 1:00pm to 3:30pm depending on the destination.
We will be diving with Provo divers which is one of the biggest dive companies in Provo. The staff will set up your gear for your dive and break it down and rinse it at the end of the day. Just pack your bag, leave it on the dive boats and it will be ready for your next dive. No lugging heavy gear!
